Happy Thanksgiving!

Well after 3 big meals Thanksgiving for the Webbs' is finally over. Caden and I went to Wryan's parents on Thanksgiving day as Wryan had to work a 12 hour shift at the hospital. We went to my Dad's in Stigler that night so he could get up Friday morning to hunt. Then onto Mamaw Kelley's for lunch and Mamaw Fern's for supper.

Caden kept asking all day where the turkey was??? Earlier in the week he said he would like a turkey as a pet. My mom told him that it would be sad to have a turkey as we would have to kill it for Thanksgiving. His reply, "Couldn't we kill someone else's turkey?"

Bon fire time at Bailes ranch

Last night we were all able to enjoy a weenie and marsmallow roast at my Dad's. I think we all had a great time. It was a beautiful night with just the right temperature for a fire. The hardest part was finding sticks long enough to roast our food without burning our hands! Ok so I went a little overboard with adding wood to the fire!

Caden's New Puppy

Well since we're moving to a new house with 40 acres in about a week, we decided to get a "farm dog." We looked online and in the local newspapers but had no luck. We finally found some Australian Shepherd puppies in the Daily Oklahoman up around Seminole, OK. Caden & Wryan made a trip there today.

On the way they stopped & picked up "Uncle Bud" in Wetumka to go with them.

The puppy's name has changed from "Cowboy" to "Johnny Cash" and now to "Merle" as his color is red merle.

New Cast

Well Caden got his new "hard" cast today. He didn't like getting the cast put on and then was also upset that the part of his foot not casted was stinky. We went to Toys R Us afterwards for a prize since he had kind of a rough appointment. He picked out a Transformer toy. We followed that with lunch at Chuck E Cheese where we played enough games to win two rubber snakes! He has to wear it until May 25!

OFFICIAL BROKEN LEG!!!!

Well it's official......Caden's leg is broken in two places. We will see an orthopedist tomorrow. Lucky for us, Wryan has friends in the ER so they splinted his leg until he could get his cast put on.

Last night as Caden & I were walking in the pasture. One of Wryan's dad's mares came up and started bothering me as I was carrying Caden. I tried to run her off and she turned and kicked us both. We iced it and it didn't swell or bruise but he can't put any weight on it. So no church or egg hunt for us on Easter Sunday. We stayed home & colored eggs.

Easter

Wryan had to work the Saturday before Easter so Caden and I went over to Mimi & Papa Brent's for an Easter Egg hunt with Caroline. Caden was the winner finding 41 eggs!

Chase's 5th Birthday.

We went to Waldron today for Chase's Super Mario 5th Birthday. He got a new 4 wheeler, which he and Caden had a good time riding.

Caroline visits Webb Farm!

Caroline & Dana came over to see the newest additions to Webb Farm, 10 baby pygmy goats! She & Caden had a great time jumping on the trampoline, feeding the goats & riding Caden's pony!

Sesame Street DOT ORG

Caden & I were driving to school and were having a big discussion about the weather & all the fun things we were going to do when the weather stays warm. I told him that in a couple of weeks we were going to Sesame Street Live. He asked me, "Mom, don't you mean Sesame Street Dot Org?" Heehee At the end of Sesame Street, it says "to see more visit sesamestreet.org"

Papa Dana IS JOHN WAYNE!

Caden & I were discussing superheroes and what their names were in real life. He told me Spiderman's real name was Peter Parker & Batman's was Bruce Wayne. I then asked him what did he think John Wayne's name was in real life. He thought really hard then said, "I think it's Papa Dana."

Goat weekend!

Well after stopping in Inola to pick up Prince William or "BlackCat" as Caden calls our new billy. Wryan went to Atoka Sunday morning and picked up 10 baby pygmy goats.

Later that afternoon we went to Justin & Kathy Akin's son Jackson's 5th birthday party. We all got tickled at Caden because Kathy told the kids that they each got TWO tries to bust the pinata. Well most just kept hitting it until they were told to give someone else a try. Caden being Mr. Serious walks up hits the pinata exactly TWO times & then passes the bat to the next kiddo. Kathy had to tell him to hit it some more!

Baker twins birthday party

Caden has been sick with a double ear infection since Tuesday but he had been looking forward to going to James & Jami Baker's twins 4th birthday party in Stillwater on Saturday. Well Saturday morning he was still sick but we decided to go anyway since he wasn't contagious. It was held at a gymnastic center and Caden had a great time jumping on the trampoline and running on the padded floor.

Addison Thomas's 3rd birthday party

Caden and I enjoyed Matt and Katie Thomas's little girl Addison's 3rd birthday at the gymnastic center in Poteau. I was very happy to see Caden come out of his shell and not be afraid of all the activities.
